Scholarship Opportunities for High School Seniors and Continuing College Students

 

Three Scholarship Programs are accepting applications.

The Ed Kawazoe / Helen Tao Memorial Fund offers three awards to both 2007 High School graduates and continuing college students in the Silicon Valley area who best exemplify the spirit of community activism and leadership, and demonstrate their commitment to help further the goals of the Asian Pacific American community of Silicon Valley.  Students with financial need are encouraged to apply.

The Ed Iwasaki Memorial Fund offers two $500 scholarships to 2007 graduating high school seniors throughout the United States from all socio-economic levels, gender, cultural and religious backgrounds with a 3.5 or higher GPA with leadership qualities and high academic achievements.

The Japanese American Community Resource Organization of Silicon Valley offers one $500 scholarship to a 2007 graduating high school senior in the San Francisco Bay Area from all socio-economic levels, gender, cultural and religious backgrounds who have participated in the legacy and future vitality of the Japanese American community.
